The nail head must come into contact with the back of the slot. The head surface of the hammer is milled so that nails easily hit the heat of the hammer on contact and don’t slip off. This hammer is useful for small and large household job.
One 12 oz. hammer, 11″ long with a magnetic slot on the top to hold a nail. The face of the hammer head is milled.
I bought five of these for all our daughters and also ordered the skill drill. They were all thrilled and have used them ALOT already.
